Wow... two stunning scores in one day. You and Butte are two lucky dogs!!!! Amazing jacket Joakim!!! I couldn't be happier for you. Great jacket, great fit and you've the body to show it perfectly. Hat, jeans, boots and great demeanor. Congrats! To paraphrase Sir George of Clinton in your your sig... "Wear your Jacket and they WILL follow"!

Red hides the vindaloo that goes stray. Btw, my house is red too Joakim. Good choice if I do say so :)

Looks great. What is the overall fit like in feel? I am sure I read somewhere it was going to be even more tapered than the 30s Halfbelt, though in the shots of it laid out it looks somewhat more straight up and down, a la a Highwayman?

I though it would be more slim than the 30's hb, I am not restricted in movement at all! It's more like a V shape back and a touch of Highwayman in the front except for the longer front towards the middle. As you can see the adjustment buckles are put low on this sample.

    Cheers Joakim

Thanks for that. Interestingly relatively narrow in the shoulders, and trim in the chest for Aero.

For reference- the good folks at aero tell me this jacket is cut about 1-1.5" higher than the other half belts.

Update on mine (er, rather, some one else's): got a message from Rachel today informing me that the black prototype I had purchased was sold to someone else instead. I'm trying to tell myself that this is all "for the best" but right now I'm bummin out :(

  20. Maybe I'm missing something..but...if you had actually 'purchased' the jacket...how did they sell it to someone else..??
