I love them as well - I had my first one (classic Navy) aged seven, back in the early 1970s. I have had them all my life since then, usually owning several of them. I have a fair number of them now, including Navy and Army (olive) green. Do you still have any of yours?I love those Guernseys. On cold days, I would wear one to the office. My tie was usually barely visible, and barely was enough, so I was appropriately dressed. Mine, however, are a bit shorter than yours, ending just below my belt line.
Time to resurrect them in the Fall?I probably have all of mine stored in a cedar chest.
They, like most of my clothes, no longer fit because of my weight gain when I broke my leg and was inactive for 5 months or so. I am at that age when weight loss isn't easy to achieve.Time to resurrect them in the Fall?
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Le Tricoteur is a good supplier. But like me you have your WPs to fall back on as well. They, like most of my clothes, no longer fit because of my weight gain when I broke my leg and was inactive for 5 months or so. I am at that age when weight loss isn't easy to achieve.
