Thought I’d get into the act and join the crowd.

Not too much plastic to pick up on the beach this morning. Only light winds with a few sporadic raindrops. Good day for a German designed Panama hat woven in Ecuador, made in Slovakia, and worn in Hawaii.

Had to go out in the rain earlier this evening. Not a fan of going out in the rain. My oil skin coat and Akubra Fed Deluxe IV helped me get through it all.
Stay warm and dry folks.

Good choice.

Dealing with a double whammy, but happily hatted on a crisp, super sunny Saturday.
Yesterday at 8AM I had a dental implant (#19, so easy, right Max?). Then home to lay low for a bit, and realized the cold shared by my grandson last week had finally hit. BLAH!
So, please pardon the giant jowl on my left side, and look only at this circa 1965-70 Borsa thin ribbon that (against great adversity) @Daniele Tanto secretly placed in my possession. This hat was made for and sold in the European market.

Great hat. Hope you feel better soon.

Hey everyone!
This Pilgrim got the nod today. Probably will be the choice for Thanksgiving too.

That is one cool lid and jacket worn with one hell of a chutzpah, Jonathan.

Thanks, Steve. Both recent eBay finds which I thought would pair well together. I think it actually turned out better than I envisioned, so I'll be wearing this loud and proud. It definitely drew some attention at the grocery store yesterday.

Yaaaassss! You rock that mountain of a hat.
Thanks, Bob. A wee shy of 4" x 7" as advertised in the Sears catalog, as I measured closer to 6-3/4" open crown, but it did say "about" on the dimensions so it's close enough.

I'm looking forward to seeing you rock that fuzzy 3X you recently scored.

The extra hour allowed me to pop this post, pardners!
A wise man (or was it a wise guy, @Redfokker?) once said, “embrace the stingy!”
So, channeling my inner Don Draper, a circa 1965 Knox Madison Avenue...
