Now there's a thought.

No problem at all, you probably had a nip out of the same bottle as:

Let's sort him out.

There again I'm probably wrong, chances are that you are both head over heels with such a pair of magnificent lids.
Warm enough, and sunny enough for a Panama.

I stand corrected.
It was hard keeping that sideways pose. I’ll be sore in the morning.
Thanks, GHT

Looks great Randall
Thank you, Joe!
I aim to hand sew a row of stitches around the brim tomorrow: Playboy style.
I had to put off hand sewing on the silver brim binding on my new 40s dove gray Wormser. I changed my mind on the color and had to order some vintage ribbon and waiting for its arrival. I finally found some finished edge grosgrain, but it was expensive. After shipping cost of four bucks it came to $15 for one piece of material! Oh well. That particular fedora is worth it.
Hope I can still say that after sewing on the binding.

Today....yesterday had somewhat of a wide ribbon Knox/Dobbs vibe so today a different Knox vibe.
Thin ribbon Twenty with that fine Knox CustomEdge treatment they do so well.
About as soft a hat, crown and brim, creases with just a thought. Surprising considering the little worn condition.
Be well. Bowen
Ps: as always thanks to each and all who always have kind words and likes.

Two-tone Game Bird for work tonight. I love the the colors but wish it had a wider brim. I just think 2” is too narrow for my head. This bird may be flying the coop.

I really like that gator print sweat!! And of course, the two tone is smashing!!
Keep the Game Bird, get a different head.

Sorry, Bill. Couldn’t help myself.

I agree, though. Ya know who would look great in that hat? Hector!
He makes stingies look graciously accommodating.

Today a trilby straight from the sixties
Ediston 6.jpg

It reminds me of a sand digger who worked on a boat on the Adige river
Ediston 3.jpg

He was cooked by the sun and on Sunday morning with a coat and his trilby which was very similar to this.
I saw him in a smoky bar with glasses and some Italian snacks and his hands like shovels
Ediston 2.jpg

Panizza Ediston size 59 cm. Ediston was considered one of the best creation of Panizza production in the last part of its production (60-70)
Ediston 4.jpg

Color of the felt is "Ferro Gn" and it is a heather felt so soft that is difficult to keep creased
Ediston 1.jpg

Thanks for the likes and hurrah for the sand digger
Have a nice day!
