Wore one of the 5 new hats I just received from Stefan this week. Stetson Premier Lancer. More in the New Hats thread.

A bright, sunny, but cold and crisp winter's day. My red nose shows just IMG_20210131_152045.jpg how cold it was :)

A week of torrential rains and what seemed like lasting darkness had me struggling to fill the week. Came a long way and I'll make it up next week (fingers crossed). Italian week still.

I love this hat. I wish these boss of the plains styles were more readily findable.
Yes, it would be nice. It's a great dimension. I wish I had a Boss shaped block so I could get the remains of the former peak bash worked out of it.

Been a Leeknox homburg weekend.

That darker one has some fantastic colors going on. Both are great hats.

Thanks,
Michael

Welcome to the FL, Dan. Nice looking Tonak. The company has a relatively long and interesting history and are still going strong.
Be careful of hanging around the Lounge though. Your hat collection is at risk of growing exponentially :)
Thanks, Steve!
You're so damn right...
It's a little more than a year since I bought my first one, and already have 5.
Wearing them is so enjoyable and relaxing, even during this cold weather.
My father was an old fashion person, I hardly remember him without hat (and suit). Unfortunately only now I came to this habit. But hope it's not too late ;-)
Thank you all for sharing your beautiful hats here.
Have fun!

Great looking Knox, Bill. Your choice of outfit matches it perfectly.
While masks are so necessary and the right thing to wear these days, they do indeed play havoc with our sitebeards. I guess that's a small price to pay :)

Knox for services this morning. Note to self *take pictures before wearing face mask as to keep the beard presentable. Removed the jacket and tie before heading to lunch at a local restaurant.

Mallory Aristocrat Quality
Warm Pewter Felt
4 3/4 Crown as shaped - 5 1/2 Open
1 3/8 Antique Pewter Grosgrain Ribbon
2 1/2 brim with 3/8 grosgrain binding

Hat number 7 of the Mystery Hat Box Nine. This may very well be my favorite of the lot. I would guess this was Mallory’s take on the Whippet. And what a fine job they did! A lot to like about this hat... the color of the felt, ribbon and binding to the dimensions and crease... it all just works in my eyes. The manufacturing tag has this hat labeled at 7 1/4 however for whatever reason it as a perfect size 7 fit. Two more hats to come from the Mystery box. They will be hard pressed to outshine this Malloy.

Another great week Stefan. Glad you were able to find a window to get some hat time

I'd been thinking about this Borsalino for a week or two, so I rooted around this morning until I found it.
