Stefan, Thanks again! Fantastic series of hats from you today. The Howlison Stiff Felt is a real beauty with the form, color and tight brim work.

C & K "Eiderdown". I think Anthony said it was 1930s, but I could be wrong.
    Anyway, it is one of my faves. Light as air. 20210411_182932.jpg 20210411_182942.jpg 20210411_182903.jpg 20210411_182959.jpg 20210411_183007.jpg 20210411_183012.jpg 20210411_183017.jpg

    1st post BTW

  8. Great start!
Unless you’re prepared to replace the sweatband I’d not manipulate it, steam it, or perspire much on it. Stetson’s sweatbands of the period are not very good...I’ve had several shrivel like cheap bacon when exposed to moisture.

    welcome onboard!

Late afternoon walkabout in another thin ribbon Stratoliner. This is the first vintage Stratoliner that joined my hat tree. Lovely hat that has gotten plenty of wear.

  11. Give Gannon and Wolfbrae a look too. Wolfbrae is great as his hats are a bargain since he’s just starting out. Gannon...I don’t think you can do much better even if you’re willing to pay four times his price.

After the weather in Tampa last night delivered the first severe weather delay in WrestleMania’s 37 year history. Tonight the weather threaten to be no better but let up in time. With WrestleMania taking place at Raymond James Stadium the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the appropriate hat it seems would be @Short Balding Guy Stetson Buccaneer. However without Eric’s fine hat in my collection I went to the next best thing. Stetson Musketeer. Cheers!

  15. I enjoy hearing about the menus almost as much as seeing the hats. You are truly living your best life Eric! (We need more Horatio pics though)
