Sounds great, Daniele. I'm looking forward to it.
Terry here the pictures of Borsalino with the shape of the Thirties
B 30 2.jpg

It is a Borsalino hat made for the USA market in the fifties
B 30.jpg

As you see the brim are not so wide, but the crown is very high and with a particular shape
B30 1.jpg

Take your inspiration especially for the crown-ribbon part, as long as you like it and be useful.
Hope it helps

I really like the crown-brim width proportions. I have seen other hats like that in the Classifieds lately, but I like yours better, Daniele.

The white stuff, along with some chilly temps have descended upon my fair city. No Mr. Sol today. We we're talking about Silver Mist hats lately, so I thought I'd wear the first Gannon I ever ordered.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
That is gorgeous, Jim. I like the double contrast with the ribbon and brim binding.

Today a hat among those bought in my "lucky" purchases of summer
2j0e6g2.jpg

Borsalino Qualità Superiore. Color is "Mirtillo" size is 59 cm. and is a new production
jr67lw.jpg

After so many rumors, false news and big lies on Borsalino, here is an example of modern production

It is well understood that you must know how to choose, but I see with pleasure that a pair of hats from the 18-19 collection are fantastic and have a "good" price, even less than one of the many hatters now active

It came new and unworn along with two others

Have nice day. Thanks for your appreciation on the deep grey Flechet
Still one of their best colours. I never had a reason to doubt Borsalinos vintage or modern.

Hold up in the house most of the day with contractors destroying our kitchen. Leaving for a quick trip to the store for supplies (we are living out of the microwave in the family room, need more pop-tarts!) and needed a quick grab-and-go. The soft, floppy Barbisio from the Dutch connection was handy. I really like this hat, I just let it do what it wants. I notice a goofy twist in the pinch this morning...

I have always enjoyed this Lee. The Doe-Sheen is such a cool marketing tool.

Thanks Stefan. That was a great grouping of homburgs you posted. Dang.

Michael

Good to see everyone again. The Sixteen Fiddy has such a great finish, and great color.
