So many great hats posted this month and thank you for all the likes and kind words.
It’s the holiday season and the party scene has begun. While I was waiting for my wife to get ready which is always the case; I was trying to figure out what hat to wear. I deciced Caribou would be the best color, but couldn’t make up my mind on the style. Maybe it was the pre party Cognac causing me to vacillate

I decided go with the Stetsonian

I often have the same problem. I joke with my wife about it when she shows me three of her pairs of shoes, “which pair looks best”

Not one I'm wearing as it's too small for me and it's snowing here in London today....... but may be of interest.... a " Genuine Panama", quoting the printing on sweatband, in porkpie style by Bailey of Hollywood, I think a well known US maker ?. '60s/'70s or later ? I picked it up in a vintage shop on one of my trips to States, can't remember if it was in '80s or '90s, went over a lot to see friends.

Wegener "Start", possibly late 1920s. The Felt is a Mélange with a Rauh / Rough Finish. The Brim is a Curled Hidden Over Welt which was common in this time period + place. Color coordinated Wide Band with Back Bow. R. & M. Wegener Soft Felts from this time period are rare finds. I found this one back in 2020.
