Three days in Hyogo for our 27th wedding anniversary.
I wanted a special hat, so went for my Borsalino Bismuto Debrosan.

Etsuko wore a Maxim.

More cherry blossoms (and some food) to come in the Fedoras Afield thread if I get around to it.
Wonderful milestone!
Your montage is testimony to a mutually kind and respectful couple, both wearing super lids.
Congratulations!

Birds are nesting everywhere, a sign that it's time to bring out the featherweights... here a charcoal heather Stetson Standard Quality from the mid Depression-era.

I just finished up a few hat projects and this is my latest one. This is a faded out Resistol Stagecoach that I took apart and sized up, and restyled. I was going to try and do a Josey Wales hat but I didn't have enough brim to give it a 3/4 brim curl. This is what I came up with. The brim width is 3 1/2 inches so I just gave it a 1/4 brim curl rather than the 3/4. I creased the crown to a teardrop and put a grey mid-ribbon on it with a simple bow.

On the head: The ribbon wasn't yet sewn to the hat in these pictures
