Good day. This morning I was out and about in a Gannon (bone hued beaver felt). This is a perfect light weight hat for a nearly 60'f summer morning.

Today is a nice and sunny day but a bit chilly so I went with my favorite combo, moto jacket, white tee and Stetson 7x. InShot_20190612_111324411.jpg

Thanks Mark. I thought yours looked like it was linen. Hard to find a nice linen jacket around here in anything other than cream plain weave. I lucked out on the timing in finding this one and another yesterday, as today and tomorrow might be the only days when wool jackets will be comfortable until maybe October sometime.

Thanks Bowen. Zegna makes some fine cloth, to be sure. And this particular piece of cashmere is so soft.

    Thanks,
    Michael

I remember that Champ coming through my hands. Truly a special, light weight felt. That Habig is a beautiful color.

Both of these are very nice Max. I really dig the innards of the Dobbs though. That sweat is sweet!

    Super straw! Tri-motor powered.

    Pristine!

The sweat looks brand new. Love the weave.

    20 bucks well spent!

Wonderful finish on that Adam. What does the sweat/liner look like. Classic early 60s lines.

I'll try to get out early today, then hold up in the A/C at home. We are just not used to this kind of heat this early in the season. We are such weather wimps.

I absolutely love the color on this Whippet Michael.

Love Bone felt, it is scary to wear though.

Heading out for some errands early today before the oppressive heat hits. Early 1960s Dobbs Milan is one of my grab and go straws.

A 7X to die for! Thanks for posting it again - and making me cry again - JJ. One day I'll have one of my own...I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...

A Stetson Saddle Roll today. Lower 80's today, cool by Texas summer standards.

All I have is a crummy photo with poor lighting in my library. I'll take and post a better one this evening. Any specific closeups you want or just an overall portrait shot of the underside?

I'd say one of the most beautiful things to come out of Roswell, Alan. Super hat. Makes one feel all summery.

Cheating a bit as this is not the hat I'm wearing today but yesterday. I posted it in the Homburg Nation Thread, but forgot to post it here. I can recommend that thread if you're into or want to get into Homburgs. I bought this one from Daniele two or three years back. Thankfully, it wasn't his size.
Carlton, French. Circa very early 1950s.
I love the dimensions on this one, the simple colour combination, and the feel of the felt.

Such a great hat and the sweat stamp "Built by Lee in U. S. A." is pretty neat.

Nice straw. Shorter brims suit you too, Brent. Who'd have thought

Thanks... and agree. That is an interesting credit. RLK had one almost identical - the only other I've seen. It's a great wearing early hat.

The colours and the flow of the brim and crown are something to behold, Steve. That is one nice post WWII hat.
