These Are The Days Of Our Lives.
A bio of Queen.
My wife and I have seen several programs about Queen, but this one was really good.
Studio footage, interviews with several that helped out in the studio, an interview with their former manager, and of course several interviews through the years with the band.
As with many groups in the late 60's and early 70's, they didn't get paid for quite some time, despite traveling all over the world to promote their first few albums. I can think of a few groups this happened to, one such group being the Beatles.
Really good concert footage on this as well...

I know, for 45 he looked way older.
The natural talent was incredible.
If he had only...well...you know, he'd still be with us.
What's funny is that John Deacon has withdrawn from anything dealing with Queen.
He certainly doesn't need the money, at an estimated worth of $103 Million dollars.

It was interesting how nearly every artist that attended the tribute ended up coming out themselves years later.

Starting to get hooked on Castle... don't remember which season, but they did a very nice "noir tribute" episode. :)
That was "The Blue Butterfly", episode 14 of season four. As they're investigating a murder that involves a vintage butterfly necklace composed of blue diamonds, there are several flashbacks to 1947 with the regular cast playing dual roles. Incidentally, this was guest star Chad Everett's final screen appearance; he had lung cancer and died six months after the episode aired.

I enjoy Castle, but you have to watch it with the understanding that it's really about the characters and that the so-called detective work is pretty weak.
