What a nice treat seeing this one. The felt looks so rich and supple. Nice one Perry.

Wonderful Playboy Richard. I notice a little extra detail on that ribbon, cool!

I gave myself a present for Santa Lucia who is the bearer of gifts since I was a child.
She usually arrives on December 13th, but the courier did not have time to wait and so she arrived early

Panizza Special size 59
It is a warehouse stock that appeared on Etsy and for my great love of the historical production of Panizza, on Lago Maggiore, I bought it

I'm happy because for some time I wanted a Panizza with this shape and I found it in green and with an incredible felt
I have other Panizza, but none with a finish of the brim like this and a crown so full. I'm happy

Thank you for your likes on M. Hutter's hat.
I will return, as promised, on that and on this with a photographic service dedicated to them
Nice color and brim stitching on this wonderful hat Daniele.

Just perfect! Made my morning.

FWIW, the ribbon on the Demon is definitely not patina.

It was fun pulling this one out today. I haven't worn it in several weeks, and the last time I had it out, I worked it to an open crown, steamed and brushed it, removed any ghost creases, and boxed it up. So when I got this out of the box, it was like pulling out a new hat. A little steam and a new crease and off to work I go.

Love seeing original Whippets. One of my favorite styles. Bucket list item for sure!

Open Road... I usually like to wear these American thin ribbons with the brim curled up but today I felt snappy.

I think they look best with a jaunty tilt and a snapped brim. This is a perfect example Alan. Extremely nice.

Cold and frozen out there this morning. Off to yet get another color of gray for the wife to sample. The house looks like a zebra with stripes of different tones of gray. I have the patience of Job. Felt the need for a German velour, today a stingy Wilke from the 1970s (?). Love these velours when in a stingy mood.

That Marathon looks nice with that particular overcoat. I always like seeing it.
Thanks Red. There is a lot of grey in the blue on both of them.

Really late to the party today. The Borsalino Angora made it's debut at church this morning. Still just as fluffy and floppy as I remember from last season. Love this hat and the Misto Grigio color. It goes well with the new granite colors. I'll have to photo more dark hats on this surface. View attachment 146810 View attachment 146811 View attachment 146812

Love it. I went with the German velour today too. Hut Spanke sold this one, no idea who made it.

I was under the impression that they started with a rose color. My St. Regis is gray, and it has some tint. Was this color something that faded out of the gray binding? Sure makes 'em purdy!

Finish and that ribbon color are one of my favorites John.

I think you look sharp in a stiff felt. This one is so nice and crisp looking. Maybe you would feel better under an old Stetson Derby with a wider, more curled brim.
Thanks Mike!

Wearing this latest conversion project that a fellow Lounger gifted to me. This one is a tan Stratton that I just finished. Aside from being quite stiff, it came out pretty crisp looking. It's definitely a favorite. I'll have more later in the Conversion Corral...

A few different angles...

Greetings All:
Today...i’ve been kinda leaning towards center creases of late. It seems all i have are diamonds and have become somewhat stale. Center creases present more elegance it seems.
So here’s a diamond with some serious swoop, open crown post steam and brush, then a center crease. Still a dilemma.
Dobbs Forty before and after.
Be well. Bowen

The wide ribbon and center dent work good together. So does the jacket!
