This morning I got up early and took a long walk with the sky overcast, now the sun is shining
Stetson sage A.jpg

A modern Stetson Royal de Luxe accompanied me. Absinthe size 7 3/8 with "Sage" felt color
Stetson sage 1.jpg

A very good hat bought new from a fellow Loungers a few years ago from a consignment of second choice hats.
This is perfect, save for the ribbon that needs fixing, but it's a minor flaw because the colors of the hat are great
Stetson sage 2.jpg

They go perfectly with autumn, so the theme of the next hats, here in the north of Verona, will be that of the colors of the period

Happy Saturday everyone and thanks for your likes.
A huge compliment to all of you for the beautiful hats you showed off this week.

More near record warmth here today, which at this time of year is actually pretty comfortable.

Have a great Saturday,

Sweet color combo on that one, Michael!
Won’t be able to rest until I find any vintage brand using the same!

First real snow dump of the season. Art Fawcett made VS crossover. The story behind this hat is I finished reading “Monte Walsh” by Jack Schafer. He wore a blue Stetson in the book. So I asked Art for a city version. This is what he came up with and is the first Crossover hat he made.

Well, that was a bit of a week for sure. Sorry I haven't been posting this week; nothing to do with the presidential election on your side of the pond, but rather that my mother-in-law passed away this week. She was 89 years old, bright to the last but with very poor health recently and she passed away peacefully.
The hats were still there though and I did take pictures of them for the eagerly awaited Italian week(s). Some great hats and pics I've seen posted here this week by the way. Let's start.

Michael congratulations on the jacket, pants and pullover combinations, this time the hat works perfectly ;)

In addition to the snow, I don't know if I feel nostalgia for it or not, VS's hat is magnificent.
Complimenti Johnny
