I came into a small inheritance of Optimo fedoras recently. Sadly I did not inherit their hat size along with them, so I am trying to figure out what they're worth. Is there anything I should know regarding Optimo, or their hats that would matter?
They are beautiful. I recommend looking at eBay and similar sites to get an idea of their value. They are only worth what someone is willing to pay knowing all the details.

Yes, Ebay is a great source for valuation. Pay particular attention to the price that the varying sizes command. The size plays a large part of value in a hat. Hats larger than 7 1/4" command a higher dollar than sizes below that.

Bummer, they're 7 1/8. I'll check out the sold listings to try to get a feel.

You will do better if you aren’t in a hurry. This is a thin, niche market, and you are waiting for the right buyer to come along.

Smaller hats are less in demand, stingy-brim hats are less in demand. Smaller buyer pool still. I love Optimo hats. I’d be looking at one of yours if they were 7 3/8.
