I second the fine woodworking, my guy loves that magazine and gets grumpy when it doesn't come in. They also have an online subscription where you can view demo videos and other exclusive stuff on their website

Yes, use it as a finishing spray. I don't normaly need it immediately after a set, but its great on day 2 or 3 when my hair starts to look dull. It won't make your hair stiff at all (which is nice) Try using it during your brush through routine (if you brush out the curls), I bet that would work...
