Camptown Metro...

I really like my Metropolitan.. It was on the stiff side at first, but is coming along nicely with wear. (And sitting on it a few times

Sweet!! :eusa_clap did it soften up after that? my federation was super soft on the crown but the brim was stiff. Not as stiff as my peters bros. but stiff. After just working the brim with my fingers it become a lot softer. Have'nt tried to soften up my peters bros. I like it the way it is.

Colby where are you? the pressure must be unbearable!

I also have a Camptown model 1936 that shows stitching on the bow...

I gave my father-in-law a ruger blackhawk last year!

I've got a Bisley Vaquero in 45...and it would go sooooo good with those Camptowns!

It seems to depend how the flash catches it, in the same way as the little tack stitches that hold the bow in place on a Federation.

There should be quite a few visits from ups, fedex, and usps soon for me. got 2 panamas coming also and a book, and the champ hat for my wife. But it's the camptown i'm waiting for the most. :eusa_booh :cool2:

So Indycop...did ya get your delivery?...Maybe I can drive out to Jax and take a look at your Camptowns and such and see these wonders!..I'm going out to Orange Park next Sunday. I'd love to see these magical lids!..Maybe even take some pics...

What size are you, Colby Jack? If Indycop has the chance to bash his Metro when you go to the cicrus, and if the size is right, you could have tried it on and we could have seen pictures of how it looks on you.

I guess the chances of it being the right size are pretty small.
