Hey Red (or anyone else)! This was my great Aunt Alice: Do you think I could get this hairdo by using curlers or pin curls? Any ideas? I love that she has waves going all the way down and doesn't have a lot of fluff and curliness on the bottom, which is something I just can't figure out... -

Pro Curler? Does anyone have an old Pro Curler from the 1920s/30s? They're those old metal contraptions that were called "automatic bob curlers" and they supposedly helped set pin curls. I have one, but it's missing its instructions and I would be forever grateful if someone posted them. -

Red, I didn’t do the hot sticks in the same pattern. I did the original set by wrapping the carusos tightly from the scalp and then onwards down to the tip, and that’s pretty difficult with hot sticks. Is that how you wrapped the curlers in your set? Or did you do roll them from the tip... -

Any photos will help!! I printed the instructions to the brush curling, and I think I have them figured out, but looking at it and doing it are two differing things. I think I'll try it with curlers and see how it goes. I'll let you know what kind of results I get. -
