How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

    I know the feeling dub!
When I ordered my cordovan Bootlegger a couple years ago I caught them in between orders of CXL FQHH . Now it is all water under the bridge but at the time the delay it added to the order was almost unbearable.

Not a lot of love for Golden Bear, but the price was right:

I've been watching this one and a couple WD of the same style for a while. Pretty sure the WD are a tad too small. This one has better dimensions and seller dropped the price on this one yesterday so I jumped on it.

Just received this. I used a filter to dramatize the grain and show how distinctive it is. Very pretty color mouton collar. Star zipper seems like a replacement, and the quilted lining below the sheepskin has been replaced with leather. Arms have original quilt lining. This seems like horsehide in my opinion. Fit pics soon. Thunder Bay 1.0. 0925191205-01.jpeg 0925191205a-01.jpeg 0925191206-01.jpeg

This. One mistake I am fortunate enough to undo.

Me too, although I think I made the mistake of selling 3 or 4 of these:

At least we learned something. Don't know what but there had to have been a lesson in all this.

@ton312 , and let's not count the LW's. Entirely different jacket anyway.

That's the very same jacket that made the rounds. It's coming back home. :D I should've never have sold it but then again it wouldn't be as exciting getting it back.

It already have, that's why it's going back home. I wonder the state it's in?

Is that an Aero Leather Thunder Bay, or an original?

    I believe it's a Franco Canadian from the 50s or 60s.

I wouldn’t go that far, while it’s true we don’t see much of them around here I’ve heard they are well-made jackets. Congratulations!

Looks Great! I sent a pic of mine to Ken at Aero. I will try to find the thread. He used these Canadian jackets as inspiration for Aero's Thunberbay, hence the name. Mine has no makers name, just a generic Horsehide label.

    More pics here.
