Recent purchase from @regius - great guy to deal with all around.

Circa 50's-60's steerhide bootlegger style cross-zip - made by 'The Leather Garment Co Inc' out of San Francisco. I know nothing of this particular jacket maker, but the quality is fantastic.

I've been watching this one and a couple WD of the same style for a while. Pretty sure the WD are a tad too small. This one has better dimensions and seller dropped the price on this one yesterday so I jumped on it.

Just received this. I used a filter to dramatize the grain and show how distinctive it is. Very pretty color mouton collar. Star zipper seems like a replacement, and the quilted lining below the sheepskin has been replaced with leather. Arms have original quilt lining. This seems like horsehide in my opinion. Fit pics soon. Thunder Bay 1.0.

That's the very same jacket that made the rounds. It's coming back home. I should've never have sold it but then again it wouldn't be as exciting getting it back.

Looks Great! I sent a pic of mine to Ken at Aero. I will try to find the thread. He used these Canadian jackets as inspiration for Aero's Thunberbay, hence the name. Mine has no makers name, just a generic Horsehide label.

This CHP arrived. I am very happy with the quality. Heavy weight, supple leather, nice hardware, thick and silky satin lining but unfortunately it doesn't fit.
