I was reading about Vicuñas last night, and remembered to wear my Churchill 100.
It says 'BEAVER "100" MADE WITH VICUÑA'.
I wonder what percentage is vicuña. Vicuñas are supposed to have hollow hair, so I guess it would be possible to make a count.
What I do know is that the felt is outstanding.

That hat looks great on you and much better than it ever did on me.

Thats amazing you still have it. Pretty cool family mementos. They are great coats, very heavy in Melton wool. Hard to travel with due to bulk. But they sure look cool on and collar up. ;)
I used to wear my dad's Korea era one too. A different coat than today's. My wife bought me one 3 years ago, in grey. I didn't have the heart to tell her how disappointed I was.

Thanks Steve. I have posted in the past some nice photos of my Dad in this hat. It was one of the first Borsalinos I purchased.
I remember those photos, Alan. It's a beautiful Borsalino with great historical and personal provenance. You wear it well as you do all your hats. It's a tribute not only to Borsalino, but also and especially to you and your father. [emoji145]

GREAT look today, Michael. Hat, suit, shoes... wonderful!
Thanks Doug

Still one of my favorites, this grey-blue Royal Stetson goes so well with any number of shirts and jackets.

That's a great looking Royal Stetson. Nice vintage piece.

Yet another suit of yours I'm envious of, Michael. Great 3 piece and tie. Goes really with with the RS-OR. Hope you changed before mushroom hunting [emoji4]

Thanks Steve. It's a nice suit with a couple of issues I need to work on. I think it's been mushroom hunting with me before, but I lazed out on the hunt today and went shopping instead.
Came home with this ratty shearling jacket, which required a hat change.

So this Stagecoach gets a little time on the head.

And the third pair of khaki pants, this time paired with a wool officers regulation shirt.

Good move to go shopping instead of mushroom hunting, Michael. Great jacket, super look!

Decisions, decisions.
On this Day of Atonement, what’s best for the holiday?!
(I probably should’ve started fasting last week...)

Should have pulled out the Stylepark TEMPLEFORM!! I went with the dove, dudes.

May you all be inscribed for a super year in the Book of Life!!
You too, Charlie. Happy holidays.

I was rooting for the Stetson.
