Fog in the plains and here too early in the morning, then the sun appeared and today we celebrate one of the most seen colors in autumn: brown
Pieghe Borsalino 6.jpg

Borsalino Qualità Superiore from the Seventies, size 59, but extremely comfortable, despite the Borsalino tendency to be tight.
Pieghe Borsalino 1bis.jpg

The color of the felt is "Fosco" with great malleability and excellent finishes. See the three seams that end the brims.
Pieghe Borsalino 5.jpg
The pleated ribbon finish is very well done and the color that matches the felt is a nice touch.
Pieghe Borsalino 2.jpg

Thanks for the likes on the Stetson in "Sage" a very interesting color
Pieghe Borsalino 3.jpg

Have a nice Sunday while here the fog is coming

... my mother-in-law passed away this week.

So sorry for your loss Stefan. Many mother-in-laws are outside the stereotype (mine was) and you know how special they can be. Extra condolences to your wife -- I'm fortunate to still have my mother and can only imagine how hard it will be to lose her.

On the hat side -- "Misto Montana" is a great name for a hat model.

Michael congratulations on the jacket, pants and pullover combinations, this time the hat works perfectly ;)

In addition to the snow, I don't know if I feel nostalgia for it or not, VS's hat is magnificent.
Complimenti Johnny

What to tell you Stefan? I wish some were my size and here I stop :)
Condoglianze per tua suocera
Thank you, Daniele. You're headed for some weeks of both joy and heartpains with all the Italian hats on display and none of them in your size:)

The Borsalino is wonderful both in colour and in finish. I had one like that in grey, but that one didn't want to work with me.

Well, that was a bit of a week for sure. Sorry I haven't been posting this week; nothing to do with the presidential election on your side of the pond, but rather that my mother-in-law passed away this week. She was 89 years old, bright to the last but with very poor health recently and she passed away peacefully.
The hats were still there though and I did take pictures of them for the eagerly awaited Italian week(s). Some great hats and pics I've seen posted here this week by the way. Let's start.

Terrific hats of late sir. Today's Borsalino has all the features on one hat. A very nice and unique hat. Thanks for sharing.

Good morning folks. I got to go grocery shopping this early morning. I look forward to my essential foray for groceries. It is of my only trips each week. For the special occasion I sport'd my Stetson DeLuxe Stratoliner. Thin ribbon goodness!

I got to the grocery store before 6:00am. I was the only shopper on this large grocery store. Good for me. I picked up my groceries and included a thick beef tenderloin thinking my dog and could share this for breakfast. Home I am grilling "breakfast" in a Stetson Vita-Felt fedora. This hat has a unique ribbon and edge treatment.

Yes, that bowler really sets off the ensemble, Michael.
Thanks Randy. I like that pairing.

Love the brim stitching on this one, Daniele. And yesterday's hat had a super color combo. Enjoy the autumn weather.

Thanks,
Michael
