Fantastic old Stetson Michael. Dig those boots!
Thanks Mike. The boots are some Florsheim that appear to have been made in 1970.

Some house projects in progress today. Doing some work in my He-Shed and cleaning the deck. Mundane chores have become an event during this crazy year. Wearing my beater SLS stingy. Do love this hat for casual wear, I take it off to gaze at the tip logo from time to time..."Never connected in any way"

That looks like a great work hat, Mike. Not too much brim to be bumping into projects. How's the He-Shed working out? Got a stereo and a big screen out there yet?

The strong, persistent, continuous rain kept us company for a week with inconvenience for everyone. Snow fell copiously on the mountains with considerable accumulations.

Gray today, but no water from the sky so I put on an English hat to go home by foot
Lock 5.jpg
Lock size 7 3/8 UK, a 60 cm. in Europe and a 7 1/2 US. The hat was sold in Italy, in Milan precisely.
The felt is of medium consistency, slightly static with a magnificent "Corrie" color.

It is a unique pale purple in my collection. The contrasting ribbon is dark anthracite.

Good day to all of you and congratulations because in these days of no hats for me, you have kept me company with a series of magnificent hats.

I know for you purists that a feather on a Stratoliner or any hat is sacrilegious, but aside from adding stiffener to the brim, I had to do something to spruce this poor hat up.

What type stiffener did you use? I have a Royal Quality in Caribou, and the brim is like a piece of thin backing felt, all curly and floppy.

You have my motor running with those fine examples! Thanks for sharing.

View attachment 288368 Today a Dobbs. I love the shape, color and ribbon. I may have a custom copy of it made in a 100% beaver someday. It’s a good town hat.

F. Witzleben Leipzig possibly 1920s. There is no company mark on the paper label but probably sourced. I found this hat back in 2013.
