To me, hats are the epitome of style and one should not get to worked up about trying to match a brim to the size of their head or shape of their face. I'd like to encourage folks to make the style statement a fine hat allows and enjoy every moment of it. I think if you are enjoying the style...
@Daan: Thanks, that would be helpful. I realize there are many variables, but still some comparing photos would be great. And just to let you know, I did place an order off your website - but was feeling apprehensive with no experience with berets under my belt. Years ago I went through a...
Side-By-Side Comparison of Beret Diamaters
I've looked through this entire thread and the SPB website. I appreciate the helpful info on how berets are measured and the different diameters available. What appears to be missing, and is only shown sporadically, is how the varying diameters...
Interesting article about the history of Pharrell's hat - which was produced by Vivienne Westwood over 30 year ago.

At the same link, don't miss the Buffalo Gals hip hop video featuring Ms. Westwood's hats.

Two modern interpretations of vintage balloon tire bikes
Both bikes are new, modern interpretations of vintage balloon tire bikes. Manufactured by Retrovelo in Germany. I consider myself a member of a small subset of cyclists in the US that have rejected lycra attire and racing style bikes...
Byrnie Utz Hats in Seattle trimmed my fedora's brim today and did an excellent job. They use a special tool that removes 1/8-inch at a time. It only took about 10 minutes to trim my brim, making 5 passes with the tool before I said "that looks good!". I highly recommend them if you are...
So who thinks it is easier to be a single man or a single woman? I guess as a guy I've always thought it was easier for me. There always seemed to be lots of dating choices - the challenge is to make the right choices and to not jump to fast into something serious!
I was in San Francisco last weekend and at the Farmer's Market down by the Ferry Building, I say a booth by a Cuban photographer with very cool vintage-look photos of Havana. Caused me to think that the ultimate vintage gathering might be in Havana. Have any Loungers made it there?
