Stefan, we have to say thanks to the old Italian hatters who managed to produce consistent and very light felts.
    Nobody like them ;)
Thank you for keeping the level of Italian production high

Walkabout in an Akubra Camp Draft. A quick rain shower passed. The hat and I are dry upon our return home. This CD is the Fedora Lounge version of years ago (2.5" brim on a bluegrass hat). I removed the liner as I have used the hat for hard chores, weather and in use the liner made the hat too hot. Rain and weather has the leather sweat showing thru the felt on the outside. I need to work the hat on a block with some steam.

I have completed the yard chores on my list before the hot afternoon sun. My Shudde straw hat worked hard. It goes on the block to dry and get some steam to reshape the brim later this upcoming week.

Thanks Stefan. I like it so much I went with it again today.

That is one fine collection of lightweight felts. I'm not sure I have even one that goes under 100 g.

    Macy's Men's Store again.

It rained a bit while we were in services this morning. It stopped before the end of services so my new Northwest Straw stayed dry. Happy Father's Day ya'll.
