Thanks Reggie for your appreciation. The scarf comes from a purely female shop where I was a couple of weeks ago with my daughter and her mom. They were trying on shirts and skirts, I was hanging from room to room giving some opinion on their choices, I came across a basket of scarves and I chose

Hair grows more in the southern hemisphere. Probably because the whole body is hanging from the earth, so it grows while hanging down.

How do they know it's a coprolite and not just a lump of mud? Looking at it with a microscope?

Techniques are a mystery to me, Max.
I know it was found, prepped, and identified by an experienced expert in his Wyoming quarry.
And then, he gave it to me.
