Scott at FineVintageFedoras on Etsy often has some, but it's sporadic and colors are a crapshoot. I also tried sourcing some cord and bought a Dritz button press but that was a bust because the press was crap.

If you figure it out, let me know.
Yep....Scott is out.....had one that was too short. I was looking at doing the same.......with the same result with that button press.

I have a question about Dalton hats, when did they stop being produced? Would newer hats have a union label? Thanks!

First, here is the Dalton thread.

The name was sold in 1952, but there are examples of them as late as the 1960s. I think the later ones are Daltons in name only.

There should be more detail in the thread.
Thanks, I did read through that thread already. I found a hat that puzzles me, it is an unlined Dalton with a non-leather sweat but it does have the union tag. Was guessing 60s but didn't have anything to compare it to.
